Promoted

Hey! Someone just got promoted at work and in the relationship.

Wow!

2023 is really good most especially this month, my birth month.

This April, we are at the receiving end of really huge blessings, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I believe this is the fruit of our labor and patience.

The past year was extra stressful. I had very heavy workload that went on for six months and had multi extra-curricular as well that really challenged me on how to manage my time and energy efficiently.

It was also last year that I and my now fiancé have plunged into more adult responsibilities like investing on a house & lot. Oh boy, that phase really opened our minds that life is becoming more serious, and that there are real decisions to make. But we also learned that we are partners not just in love but in life’s totality – financial, mental, etc, we have to go through things together, and we need to keep good communication. Definitely done with the careless days.

It was a steep learning curve for the both of us last year in all aspects of life. And now, a lot of good & positive things are panning out. Maybe good karma. But one thing…although life’s a bitch sometimes (or most of the time), I am in peace to know that there’s someone beside me who’s always ready to help and cheer me up.

As in walang palya.

Kaya aasawahin ko na. 🤣

I may look like an amazona or a strong, independent woman but deep inside I feel kilig, happy and blessed that I have a partner whose love is reassuring, patient, understanding and kind. Bisyo lang ay mahalin ako. Chos. Pero may third party eh, DOTA2. 🤣

Kidding aside, congratulations Ton!

Congratulations on your well deserved promotion at work. Thank you for being always supportive in everything na naisipan kong gawin while also supporting your team well at work.

Also, congratulations on popping the question, for taking courage. Bawing bawi! Hahaha. Know that I super appreciated how you planned it all!
